PLEASE! in The Bookseller

Somehow, 2024 is almost upon us, which means it’s not long now until the publication of PLEASE!, which makes its way into the world on 18th January - hooray!

Following on from ACHOO!, it’s the next manners-themed book from Nathan Reed and me, and is all about the (bonkers and alarming) consequences for young Bill when he forgets to say ‘please’ when asking for something.

And I was VERY PLEASED (pun intended, sorry) to see PLEASE! featured in The Bookseller recently, as an Editor’s Choice in their Children’s Previews for January 2024!

I really hope readers young and old will agree that it’s a ‘seriously fun’ story, and that they will indeed remember the ‘high-velocity plot and exuberantly silly illustrations’ long after reading it - as well as the gentle reminder about the importance of manners, of course…
